How we picked

We included every game our database lists as an adventure game, plus the two point-and-click sandboxes filed under other genres, which gives nine. We ranked them as adventure games: how good the puzzles are, how rewarding the exploration is, how often you get stuck without a guide, and how finished the game is.

That puts design ahead of adult content. All nine are explicit in some build, and each entry says how. For lists ranked on other promises, see our best-of lists.

Status
In Development

Innocent Witches is the most traditional adventure game here. It is modelled on old-school point-and-click games such as Monkey Island, with inventory puzzles and quests, and story segments play as a visual novel. Some chapters open into a sandbox mode where you move freely between locations and advance character storylines.

It is an adult parody of the Harry Potter setting, so it will never reach Steam, but the free public builds run on Windows, Mac, Linux and Android and in a browser. Players often say the puzzles can be obscure; the official wiki has quest solutions. Development is active, with devlogs roughly every ten days in 2026. Read our Innocent Witches review for the build situation.

Best for

Fans of classic adventure puzzles who don't mind an unfinished game.

Price

Paradise Lust is the most polished paid point-and-click on the list. You explore a tropical island, solve inventory puzzles and progress relationships with several women, with side activities like fishing, serving drinks and a jigsaw minigame to break up the puzzling.

It is friendly to play: Steam lists adjustable text size, save anytime and no timed input, and there are native builds for Windows, Mac (including Apple M1 in the recommended specs) and Linux. It is Very Positive on Steam, still getting hotfixes in 2026, and has two sequels.

Best for

Players who want a complete, accessible point-and-click for a one-time price.

Treasure of Nadia is a top-down adventure about a young treasure hunter on the island of Cape Vedra. You explore caves, jungles and an ancient temple, sell the artifacts you find to fund more exploration, and solve block-pushing and logic puzzles that gate progress. You can also upgrade and furnish your house.

It has the most puzzle content of the top-down games and is Very Positive from 6,564 reviews. Players often mention backtracking and some puzzles that are hard without a guide, and a free demo lets you test it first.

Best for

Players who like logic puzzles and item hunting over dialogue.

4Lust Epidemic key art

Lust Epidemic

Genre

Price
$9.99

Lust Epidemic is the earlier game from the makers of Treasure of Nadia, with the same top-down structure in a different mood: a campus mystery with a light-horror edge. You explore, find items and clues and solve environmental problems, with no combat at all.

It is smaller in scope than Nadia and cheaper at $9.99, complete, and Very Positive from 1,588 reviews. The backtracking complaint applies here too.

Best for

Treasure of Nadia fans who want a moodier story at a lower price.

Endless Bounty is a short pixel-art point-and-click with an investigation at its core. You play Drok'tar, an orc mercenary tracking an elusive bounty in the town of Gabranth, questioning residents and searching for clues. Your choices lead to one of five endings, including romance outcomes.

At an estimated 2-4 hours and $5.99 it is the cheapest paid game here, with a chiptune soundtrack and Very Positive reviews (93% of 134). Its adult content is gay, which is niche but rare in the genre.

Best for

An evening-length adventure with a clear goal and several endings.

6House Party key art

House Party

Developer
Eek! Games, LLC
Genre
Adventure, Sandbox, Comedy
Platforms

Price
$24.99
Status

House Party is an adventure in the looser sense: a 3D comedy where you explore a two-storey house full of usable items, talk to fifteen partygoers and use objects to unlock storylines or cause chaos. It plays more like an immersive sim than a puzzle game, and it reacts to what you try.

The base game is not fully explicit; the Explicit Content Add-On is a $4.99 DLC. It has full controller support and is Very Positive from 15,447 reviews.

Best for

Players who like experimenting with objects and people in a 3D space.

Monster Girl Island is the 3D exploration pick: a first-person adventure on an island you explore freely, meeting its residents and uncovering its secrets through branching conversations. There is no puzzle focus; the adventure is the island itself.

Only the free Prologue is out, covering roughly a third of the main story per the developer, and it is Very Positive (95% of 16,766). It is Windows only.

Best for

Trying a 3D adventure for free.

8Milfy City key art

Milfy City is a point-and-click dating adventure with a city map and a movement system. An inventory, puzzles and mini-games gate some story steps, characters text your in-game phone, and hidden collectibles reward exploring.

The Steam Final Edition (1.0e) is complete and Mostly Positive (728). A common complaint is that it is unclear what to do next without a walkthrough.

Best for

Sandbox fans who want a finished game and don't mind a guide.

Summertime Saga is a point-and-click sandbox where quests, items and stats gate progress across a town map, with 20+ mini-games according to the official site. It is huge and free, but more of a life sim than a tight adventure.

It is still in development, and players often call the navigation grind-heavy.

Best for

Players who want a free, very large adventure to dip into over time.
