Windows$40.00
3D Custom Lady Maker is a budget 3D character creator from Hyper'sthene: you design an anime-style woman with sliders, pose her for photos and spend time with her in a simple Situation Mode. It costs $4.99 on Steam (regular price, September 2026) and runs on Windows only. The base game is mild; the explicit content is a separate $4.99 DLC.

In short
It is a small simulation title made and published by Hyper'sthene, released on Steam on April 19, 2019. The store calls it "a custom character creator with a tendency towards the titillating", which is an honest summary: the editor is the product, and everything else is a way to look at what you made.
Community opinion is split. The Steam summary reads "Mixed", with 67% of 290 user reviews positive as of September 2026. The adult DLC does slightly worse, at 59% of 22 reviews.
There is no campaign, no progression and no score. You open the editor, build a character, then move her into one of two viewing modes. That loop is the whole game, so the question is simply whether the tools are good enough to hold your attention.

The lighting and camera tools let you set up a photo shoot: move the lights, change their intensity and colour, and frame the shot. It is basic next to a dedicated studio, but it is enough for screenshots.
Situation Mode is the "game" part. The base version lets you hug your character, rest on a lap pillow and try what the store calls "marginally more risqué friendship activities". The male figure is a plain blue model, and a Man Opacity slider lets you fade him out.

There is none. No setting, characters or dialogue beyond the voice lines and the preset personalities. If you want a narrative, look at a visual novel instead; our guide to adult visual novels is a better starting point.
Characters are anime-style 3D models, with soft lighting on simple indoor and rooftop sets. It looks like what it is: a small studio project at a very low price. The models are clean, but the environments are sparse and the animation range is narrow.
That is the useful frame for comparing it with bigger names. If you want a full 3D sim with a story mode and far more editor depth, our Koikatsu Party review covers a much larger (and more expensive) game. In a straight choice between the two, this one wins only on price.
The Steam page is the only official store we found, and Steam lists no official website for the developer. There is no Mac or Linux build, and we found no demo.
| Store | Platforms | Price (Sept. 2026) | Adult content |
|---|---|---|---|
| Steam | Windows | $4.99 | Mild in the base game; explicit content in a paid DLC |
| Product | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Base game | $4.99 | The editor, photo mode and Situation Mode; Steam lists "mild sexual content and partial nudity" |
| 18+ Adult Only Content DLC | $4.99 | A "Chaotic" personality, three new animated and voiced explicit interaction sets, new body options, and the ability to remove all clothing |
| Summer Style Pack DLC | $2.99 | Five two-piece and three one-piece swimsuits, sandals and heart-shaped sunglasses; it collects the Japanese pre-order bonuses |
Prices are regular Steam prices, September 2026. The adult DLC is official and sold on the same Steam page, so there is no outside patch to find.
Not on its own. The base game is suggestive only. The official "18+ Adult Only Content" DLC is what adds explicit scenes, and Steam's content notes for it describe graphic depictions of sexual acts. For more games where adult content is a paid add-on rather than a patch, see our list of adult games on Steam.
These are modest, so most Windows PCs from the last several years should cope.
No. The base game is $4.99, and the full adult version costs $9.98 in total with the 18+ DLC (regular prices, September 2026). Adding the cosmetic pack brings everything to $12.97. That is still cheap for the niche, but note that most of the adult content sits behind the second purchase. Our free vs paid comparison explains how this kind of split usually works.
Buy it on Steam. That is the only official channel we could confirm, and Steam handles installs, Cloud saves and the DLC for you. Avoid "unlocked" builds on other sites: they are not official and you cannot know what is inside. Our explainer on Steam adult game safety covers the basics.
The game is listed as released, and its last DLC, the Summer Style Pack, came out on June 27, 2019. We could not confirm a version number or recent updates, so we do not quote one. Treat it as a finished, small product rather than something still growing.
A "Chaotic" personality in Situation Mode, three new animated and voiced explicit interaction sets, new body options in the editor, and the ability to remove all clothing. It costs $4.99 on Steam (regular price, September 2026).
No. Steam lists Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 only. Mac players can read our Mac guide for general options, but there is no official build.
Up to 80 custom characters, according to the store page, plus three pre-made characters to start from.
Five two-piece swimsuits, three one-piece swimsuits, a pair of sandals and heart-shaped sunglasses. It gathers the Japanese pre-order bonuses and costs $2.99 on Steam (regular price, September 2026).
No. It is a character creator with a photo mode and Situation Mode. There are no quests, routes or endings.
If you want a cheap, simple creator to play with for a few evenings, yes, at $4.99 it asks little. If you want depth, a story or a polished sim, the "Mixed" reviews are a fair warning, and a bigger game will serve you better.
This is a toy, not a game, and it is priced like one. The editor is decent, the 80 save slots and photo tools are generous for the money, and the adult DLC is official and easy to add. But the rating is "Mixed" for a reason: once you have built a few characters there is little left to do. Buy it if price is your main filter. Otherwise look at the bigger sims in our games catalog, or at a game with systems around its adult content, such as our Subverse review.
